This book is wrought with the intensity of a person’s own battle between the positive and negative energy forces of the
universe.  When she is not being plagued by what religion terms as "demons," our character finds her solace beneath
the drug-infested underworld of the streets of Salt Lake City.  Her husband would beat her, rape her, and demand sex
in return for material things.  After eight years of abuse, he tried to kill her.  She found her only way to survive in her
circumstances was to take on the persona that she had been playing most of her adult life anyway.  First for her
husband then for her best friend, but now she will be paid for it.

Although she is battling addiction and has had several encounters with evil forces, this young woman has a gift; she
has dreams that come true, knows when bad things are going to happen, and travels outside of her body.  What’s
more, what’s even stranger and more compelling is that this woman has died a total of seven times and each time she
has survived, but not because of what any human has instrumented or done for her.   No, just because she was given
her life back.  It was simply not time for her to die, she was meant to do something more in this life before she would be
allowed to go.  You would think that dying so many times would wake a person up from the nightmare they were living.
But maybe death is exactly what she was seeking?  No, she had to awaken in a different way.  It wasn't until she woke
up that she realized why she was given back her life so many times however.  Still, through all of this, there had to be
even more.

Prior to her recovery, our character is picked up by a date who turns out to be a serial killer that a cop had warned her
about only a few weeks earlier.  This crazed killer has taken her at knife-point underneath a bridge on a darkened
street where there are no passersby and no one to hear her screams.  All she is able to think about is how painful it will
be when he stabs her repeatedly with the knife until her body will lie lifeless in the river.  He orders her to take off her
clothes & she begins to scream for help to which he responds with laughter and looks at her with the eyes of the devil
himself.  From out of nowhere, a voice is heard yelling back in response to her screams and the killer runs away,
leaving her alive and shaking.  One more time her life is spared, this time from a horrid and painful death.

Notes from the author:
Funny how ready to die I was at my own hand but at the thought of being killed at another's made me fight for my life.
People are quick to say that I didn't really want to die, however, I can assure you as the writer of this book, nothing
could be further from the truth.  You see, the way I was killing myself was a pleasurable ride out.  The way that evil,
serial-rapist/killer was going to kill me would have been extremely violent and painful.  Who knows how much he would
have made me suffer prior to actually taking my life?  I had no idea and that's what was so horrifying.  Especially
knowing what I was told by the police officer prior to the attack.

I have been told that the ending leaves people hanging that don't know me personally and don't know how well I've
done since that point in time in which the book ends.  Let me just say that I am planning a sequel to this book.  This
book has left a lot out of my life and there has been a lot that has taken place since I wrote the book.  A whole other
book's worth to write about.  I will admit to the obvious, though, because you can tell by my last name that I am no
longer married to Brent Imes.  My last name is now Nicholas because I have met my soul mate.  His name is Tom.  It's a
funny world out there.  You never know what may happen.  Well, I know a lot of what's going to happen if I listen to
what's being told to me and shown to me.  Actually, I knew about Tom too.  You'll just have to read the sequel to know
what I'm talking about.
